Rep. Joe Wilson Right on the Money

By now you've heard all about Rep. Joe Wilson calling the President a liar during his recent speech to Congress on health care reform. Well, it turns out that what I and anyone else who took the time to read the bill already knew...Joe was right. While his timing may have been awful and his conduct somewhat inappropriate, he was right.

Take a look at the following NPR article HERE to read about a Congressional Research Support Service report that says illegal aliens are not banned from the program.

According to the language in the bill, there are no restrictions of any kind on illegal aliens participating in the program. While they are technically not required to carry insurance, I ask you, who with the opportunity to get government subsidized insurance cheaply would not do so?

A direct quote from the report:
H.R. 3200 does not contain any restrictions on noncitzens participating in the Exchange--whether the noncitizens are legally or illegally present, or in the United States temporarily or permanently.
As I railed for eight years against those calling President Bush a liar, I will refrain from echoing Rep. Wilson's call here. However, I will suggest strongly that you fact check President Obama, for your own sake get the facts for yourself, no matter who the source is.
